At the old-fashioned grocery store in Tornby - Tornby Gl. Købmandsgaard - you can experience a grocery store with interior from the year 1860 with over the counter service, just like the old days. Here you will find specialties from the area, old-fashioned toys and lovely little knick-knacks. The exhibition in the backroom shows about trading between Norway and Denmark in the old days and about the harsh tours in little boats over Skagerrak. In  Mette’s coffee room you can enjoy home baked cake and coffee.

Near the old-fashioned grocery store you will find Tornby Dyssen, the dolmen of Tornby which is the northernmost dolmen of Denmark. The dolmen of Tornby indicates life dating back to the stone ages of year 3600-3200 BC.
