Ferries from Hirtshals

By locals Hirtshals is called "The gateway to Europe" because of the many ferries from the North to Hirtshals. Take advantage and go on a one-day trip to Norway or a minicruise to the Faroe Islands. Order the tickets at Hirtshals Turist Office.

From the Port of Hirtshals you can easily sail towards other destinations in Norway, on Iceland or the Faroe Islands. Fjord Line sails to Langesund, Stavanger-Bergen and during the summer the fast ferry sails to Kristiansand which makes the trip perfect for daytrips. Color Line sails all year round to Kristiansand and Larvik on approximately 3,5 hours, which makes the trip perfect for quick getaways to the southern Norway. Smyril Line sails to Iceland and Faroe Islands, and offers a very popular North Atlantic Cruise where both Iceland and The Faroe Islands will be visited.

Visit us at the tourist office in Hirtshals, where we are happy to help you book you ticket to the different northern destinations. If you are looking for a place to park your car while being away, this is offered at Hirtshals Transport Center which are to be found 2-3 km from the ferry terminals.
